Wood Glue – TITEBOND

Original: The industry standard for woodworking, this original aliphatic resin glue has been used by craftsmen and furniture manufacturers for over 50 years. It provides a strong initial tack and fast speed of set to reduce clamp time. It develops a bond stronger than the wood itself, offers excellent sandability and is unaffected by finishes. It is easy to use, non-toxic and cleans up with water.

Regular:  First aliphatic resin emulsion adhesive developed, and for over 35 years has set the standard by which all other aliphatics are measured. This premier adhesive has excellent creep- and heat-resistance, superior solvent-resistance, very low minimum use temperature, and excellent bond strength. Titebond Regular is an excellent choice for edge and face gluing as well as general assembly of a wide variety of wood species.

Premium: The first leading brand, one part wood glue that passes the ANSI Type II water resistance specification. It offers excellent heat resistance, strong initial tack, fast speed of set and forms a bond stronger than the wood itself. It resists solvents, heat and water and sands easily without softening. It is paintable, solvent free and non-toxic. Ideal for exterior woodworking projects and FDA approved for indirect food contact (cutting boards).

Ultimate: An advanced, proprietary technology that offers the best possible performance in woodworking glues. This waterproof formula passes the ANSI/HPVA Type I water resistance specification and offers superior bond strength, longer open assembly time and lower application temperature. Titebond III Ultimate Wood Glue is non-toxic, solvent free and cleans up with water – safer to use than traditional waterproof wood glues. It provides strong initial tack, sands easily without softening and is FDA approved for indirect food contact (cutting boards). The ultimate in wood glue – ideal for both interior and exterior applications.

Polyurethane: A professional-strength, waterproof glue specifically formulated for multi-purpose applications. In addition to its superior wood to wood performance, it is ideal for metal, ceramic, most plastics, HPL and other porous/nonporous materials. It is ready to use, offers excellent sandability and is unaffected by finishes. Will not become brittle with age and will not expand or contract in the glue joint.

Melamine: A versatile glue designed for bonding wood and other porous substrates to synthetic materials such as melamine, vinyl, HPL and metals. It offers fast initial tack, yet has a longer open time that allows for the accurate alignment of working materials. It is water-based, non-flammable, has low odour, dries clear and cleans up with water. It is thicker formulation offers fewer runs and drips, making it easier to use for precise assemblies.

Titebond 50: A fast-setting, aliphatic resin emulsion adhesive. This adhesive has excellent creep- and heat resistance, superior solvent-resistance, very low minimum use temperature, and excellent bond strength. It combines both good heat-resistance and speed of set. Titebond 50 is best used in edge and face gluing as well as general assembly gluing.

Supreme: is a fast-setting aliphatic resin emulsion adhesive specifically formulated to provide a short clamp time for oak and other ring-porous woods. It has excellent heat- and solvent-resistance and excellent durability for interior exposures.

Cold Press Veneer: A high quality, economical alternative to contact cement for large-scale bonding of veneers to flat surfaces. It is specifically formulated for cold press laminating of wood to solid woods and other porous materials. Offers a moderate speed of set, a translucent glue line and contains none of the harmful or corrosive fumes typical of most contact cements. It also prevents bleed-through on open grained and unbaked wood veneers.
