POLYESTER (P.E.)

ARC PU 377/13 – Polyester basecoat that exhibits excellent manual sandability, flow, good thixotropy for MDF and porous timbers, and excellent vertical application. With its excellent sanding characteristics, PU0377/13 is particularly suitable for over coating with matt topcoats. To ensure a good gloss finish, apply two passes of topcoat 1-4 hours apart.

ARC PU 377/00 – Wax-free polyester with high build and excellent flow, both horizontally and vertically. It exhibits excellent transparency, good elasticity, absence of shrinking and excellent sandability. PU0377/00 can be applied both horizontally and vertically, preferably using two-component spray guns

ARC PU 377/NO – Polyester basecoat that exhibits excellent manual sandability, flow, good thixotropy for MDF and porous timbers, and excellent vertical application. With its excellent sanding characteristics, PU0377/NO is particularly suitable for over coating with matt topcoats. To ensure a good gloss finish, apply two passes of topcoat 1-4 hours apart.

ARC PU 361/13 – White wax-free polyester with high build and flow. It also exhibits fast drying and excellent sanding. Thanks to its good flow, it is particularly suitable for application on flat parts.

ARC PU 386/13 – Polyester basecoat with a low styrene smell and good hiding power, together with long pot-life, elasticity, thixotropy, and excellent flow and manual and mechanical sandability.

PU0386/13 –  Extremely wide field of application, ranging from MDF to other extremely absorbent substrates, and from chairs to profiles of any kind. In particular it is the ideal basecoat on which to apply pigmented gloss topcoats since it does not exhibit lifting or absorption (we recommend waiting at least 48 hours before applying the pigmented topcoat).

ARC PU 388/13 – Polyester basecoat with excellent hiding power and distinguishing peculiarities compared to standard polyurethane and polyester basecoats, such as long pot-life, elasticity, thixotropy, and excellent manual and mechanical sandability. PU0388/13 has an extremely wide field of application, ranging from MDF to other extremely absorbent substrates and from chairs to profiles of any kind. In particular it is the ideal basecoat on which to apply pigmented gloss topcoats since it does not exhibit lifting or absorption (we recommend waiting at least 48 hours before applying the pigmented topcoat).

ARC PU 2020/13 – White wax-free polyester basecoat granting an excellent hiding power and flow. It is also characterized by fast drying and easy sanding.

ARC PU 6019/00 – High build, ease of application, good sandability, high elasticity, with an extremely clear film. It can be applied in more than one coat with wet-on-wet system with an interval of 20′-30′ between the coats to enable gelling of previous coat.

ARC PUL 3051/13 – White wax-free polyester with high build and flow. It also exhibits excellent whiteness, fast drying, sandability and wettability. It is particularly suitable for application on flat parts.

ARC PUV 2111/13 – Polyester basecoat enabling an easy manual sanding, good flow, good thixotropy for MDF and solid timber, and excellent vertical application. It is particularly suitable for overcoating with matt topcoats.

ARC TU 148 00 – Basecoat which exhibits good transparency, high filling capacity, excellent pore marking, sandability and lifting resistance. It can be applied with airmix or airless spray guns or by curtain coater.

ARC TU 148 13 – General purpose white basecoat for flat parts and profiles which exhibits a good hiding power also on sharp edges, a good vertical hold when applied with fixed guns and excellent sanding.

ARC TU1 00 – General-purpose polyurethane basecoat. It is extremely versatile and suitable for most applications. In particular it has good sandability, good build and excellent lifting resistance. It can be applied using airmix or airless spray guns or curtain coater.

ARC TU 001 NO – primer is an extremely fast-drying basecoat with well-defined characteristics, It reduces lifting of the wood fibre. It blocks absorption on the edges of the MDF and reduces fibres raising which may prevent the basecoat from filling the cavities. It can rapidly be overcoated with clear or pigmented matt polyurethane topcoats without shrinkage. It is extremely easy to sand. When applied on MDF edges as a fibre setting primer, can be recoated with multiple coats of basecoat. In this case, a light denibbing is advisable, to cut down MDF fibres. For MDF edge coating cycles it can be overcoated with a number of coats of clear or pigmented basecoat.

ARC TU 213/22 – Basecoat with excellent drying, excellent manual and mechanical sandability and good pore wettability. Its special formulation combines good hiding power with maximum elasticity. Its degree of grinding is ideal for avoiding problems with filters and nozzles, so it can be applied by spray gun and curtain coater.
